This is a "Slide-to-Feeder". It is designed to sit inside your animal pen up against the fence so you can just walk up to the fence from outside, drop the hay in the top and it will slide down and to the front of the feeder without you having to enter the pen at all.
Your large animals can feed from the top, sides or front and it also allows for your smaller animals such as goats, sheep etc. to walk up and eat from the front or sides without stretching but it WILL NOT allow them to get up in the feeder and use it for a bed or bathroom so they can't destroy the feed which also cuts down on waste.
