This is a 1981 CJ7 JEEP with the original 258 inline 6 engine and original 3 speed auto tranny. The first picture is prior to starting the tear down. The second picture is of the Jeep now. The only thing not included that you see pictured are the steel doors in the first picture, I do not have those any longer I was planning to do a soft top. As you can see in the second picture it has brand new rims and tires, no miles on them. The frame and body are entirely rust free, and the body is completely straight except for the driver rear corner, there was a little work that needs to be done to straighten. . The tear down was started , the plan was to do a frame off full restoration, rebuild the engine ( although it was running when purchased just needed a carb), powder coat the frame, rewrite electrical, sandblast the tub/body, spray the interior floor with Bed liner, and paint the exterior. There are lots of engine, suspension parts, etc. that have been powder coated already. The grill and tailgate were powder coat primered. It has a couple boxes of parts I purchased such as a steering wheel, both new Bestop brand front bucket seat brackets, one of the new front Bestop seats (the matching seat can be purchased on Amazon for $199), parts to rebuild the steering column, new motor mounts, new windshield frame, and more. This is a solid Jeep originally from Texas, it has a clean AZ title and is a perfect project for full restoration. Text me with any questions, thanks for looking.
