Antique steamer trunk chest (East Mesa)

This is a vintage trunk from the late 1800s. It has most all of original hardware.
The two side latches work great. The center latch just needs a skeleton key to make it work / latch.
The two outside leather straps have since disappeared, however have two new leather straps to be installed.
It measures 28" wide by 18" deep by 14" tall.
This would be a great project to restore, or create your own coffee table or other unique piece of furniture. The possibilities are endless.
I am trying to downsize.
