Bare Furniture Selects - 15DEC2025 - I'mmmmmm BAAACCCKKK LOL (Chandler)

What is Bare Furniture? Generally, it's older pieces of furniture that are solid wood constructed (yeah, some are wood veneer topped but not pieces that once upon a recent time required 'some assembly' like say....ikea….LOL) that have been stripped/sanded down to the bare wood. If minor repairs are required....I tend to do what I can.
As the buyer what do you get? Well, you get to choose the color for the newest addition to your place. Want to stain it dark or light, bingo! Want to paint it a specific color, no worries! Want to shabby it or distress it while doing a combo paint and stain? Dang, trifecta time peeps! :)
So, in short, I rescue pieces that are sometime one step from becoming a garage queen or put in a dirty and shoddy shed to be left out there for the next 20 years. Or worse, a minor repair that gets to the point where the piece is hauled to the dump.
Lets face it, the older pieces have a lot of great bones. Solid wood construction. Parts are fitted and no use of pressboard or mdf materials. I have from time to time worked on pieces that had some pressboard material but I'm getting better at learning this hobby with time and experience. :)
Now, below are pieces that I've posted individual ads here on CL so that you can find the one in particular where it will have measurements, pricing, descriptions and occasionally, a wee bit of a story. Let me tell ya....there's always a great story out there! :)
Last but not least: While I'm not perfect, I do smell the pieces for smoke and other things that might be offensive. If it smells like it's come from a smokers' house, I'll tell ya. And in the current heat, trust me...if it's there...it will come out! :)
