Barred Rock – egg production rate: 275 Eggs/Year, brown eggs, lay large eggs, characteristics: Calm, Docile, Hardy in winter, Tolerates heat well, bears confinement well

Easter Egger – egg production rate: 250 Eggs/Year, blue to green eggs, lay medium size eggs, characteristics: s friendly, hardy, and easy to care for.
