He is SAFE SAFE SAFE. I don’t put my kids on just any horse and he’s one that is just gentle minded and safe enough for my 7yr old to ride. No spook, buck, or bolt. Easy to shoe & loads great in any trailer. He’s been around gun fire, dirt bikes, quads, tractors, roped calves off him, been ranched on quite a bit in rough country.
He’s as sure footed as they get and he’ll scale any mountain, goes through water, & pushes through thick brush. He’s been swimming in the salt river, done overnight pack trips in the superstitions (packed & ridden) he’ll ride alone or in a group(front, middle or last).
He’s been mainly ridden on the ranch and lightly started in the arena.
He’s friendly and cuddly. Put your grandma, your husband, or your neighbor that’s never ridden on him and he’ll take care of them on trail. He’s young, sound, sane and has a lifetime ahead of him for whatever discipline you choose.
I have pictures of his parents and they are STOUT good boned ranch horses. He’ll mature to be a looker and could really shine in ranch classes. Milo can sit for weeks to a month at a time, saddle, and walk off with no issues.
