Roan mare-grade - $1,500

I bought this mare as a kids horse from a trader, who I have mutual friends with. The horse was completely misrepresented to me. SHE IS NOT A KIDS HORSE. I contacted her previous owners as well to confirm my suspicions. I want to be fully transparent, so I’ll give the good and bad on her.

The good:
Vet aged her around 13/14 (confirmed with previous owners) Roan mare 14.3hh, nice build. Sweet once she warms up to you. Good on the ground. Been used on a ranch and in feedlots. Can swing a rope off her. Stays fat on grass hay.

The bad:
She has a fibrotic myopathy in her backend and calcification on her knees- she moved sound most days and warms out of it. I’ve very occasionally given her a little bute. She will not stand for her feet to be done. I have Ace’d her. I have Dorm Gel’d her, and still can’t get her feet done.

I don’t want her in a bad situation so I’m only posting her as breeding sound. I would breed her but I board and it’s unrealistic for me to do so. If you want to be a cowboy and do more than breed her for some nice babies- it is all on you. We have rode her but that was last year and she has been a pasture puff since.

$1500 obo will possibly trade for something older but dead broke. Or something green but safe just needing miles.
