Reliable Glass is looking for a motivated go-getter to support our glazing team and help manage efficient warehouse operations in Chandler, AZ. Position requires a high degree of responsibility in performing job duties with strong emphasis on safety. Ideal candidate will have a keen interest in learning the glass trade from seasoned professionals with deep experience in the glazing industry.
Duties and Expectations Include:
- Primary point of contact for warehouse operations (excellent attendance is mandatory).
- Receiver/Quality Control (receive deliveries of glass materials & supplies, check goods against invoices/packing slips to confirm accuracy, inspect glass products to ensure good quality, manage returns).
-Inventory Management/Control (manage stock glass/supply inventories, closely monitor and track usage, alert purchasing agents when supply levels are running low).
-Maintenance/Safety (keep workshop area neat and organized at all times, ensure tools & equipment are safely stowed, aisles should be swept daily and free from tripping hazards, no broken glass left on
cutting tables, waste bins emptied regularly).
-Assist glaziers with loading service vehicles, in-shop work, field installs and related tasks as needed.
- Assist with special projects as needed.
- Take direction and be open to learning from experienced glaziers.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times. Make recommendations for improved warehouse safety.
