Phoenix Testing & Inspection LLC (PTI) is actively hiring Certified Materials Testing Technicians for both junior and senior-level positions. We are a well-established construction materials testing and geotechnical engineering firm serving Arizona since 2001, working with top homebuilders and commercial contractors statewide.
Position Overview:
We are seeking qualified, dependable technicians to perform field testing and inspection services on active construction sites throughout the Phoenix metro area. Candidates must be professional, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
Minimum Requirements (NON-NEGOTIABLE):
Current ACI Field Testing Technician – Grade I Certification
Current ATTI Field Testing Technician Certification
Certified Nuclear Density Gauge User
Valid driver’s license meeting Arizona requirements for operating a company vehicle
Ability to pass pre-employment requirements (including MVR and drug screening, if applicable)
Responsibilities:
Perform field testing including compaction, concrete sampling, and density testing
Complete accurate, timely field reports and documentation
Communicate results clearly with project managers, contractors, and clients
Operate company vehicle and testing equipment safely and responsibly
Maintain professionalism on all job sites
Position Details:
Full-Time – 40 hours/week (overtime may be available based on workload)
Immediate hire
90-day trial period
Competitive pay based on experience (junior vs. senior level)
