Overview
A property management company is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee day-to-day maintenance operations at a 56-unit, senior apartment community in Arizona. This is a hands-on role requiring strong technical skills, attention to detail, and experience in property management maintenance standards.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and perform maintenance operations for a 56-unit senior community
- Complete work orders, preventative maintenance, and unit turns
- Diagnose and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and building systems
- Prepare vacant units to leasing standards
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and property management regulations
- Coordinate vendor services and inspections
- Respond to maintenance emergencies as required
- Maintain logs, records, and inventory
- Provide professional, respectful service to senior residents
Required Qualifications
- EPA Certification (Universal preferred)
- HVAC Certification
- Property management maintenance experience
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and carpentry
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in senior housing, LIHTC, HUD, or affordable housing
- Supervisory or lead maintenance experience
- Inspection and audit preparation experience
