Anya is a black/white/brown Collie mix (Australian Shepherd/Border Collie). She was wearing a red, nylon collar with a tag bearing the name "Anastasia" and our phone number. Her left ear is turned down and her right ear stands up straight (so cute!)
Anya went missing on Sunday, January 22nd after becoming frightened. She was last spotted near the 101 freeway & Elliot Rd., in Chandler. A witness saw two vehicles stop to calm and catch her as she was running through traffic. The witness believes one of the people who stopped did catch her. And since there have been no sightings of Anya since, we believe this to be the case. We have been searching and searching for her, non-stop. We believe someone knows where Anya is and/or has her in their care. If you are that person, thank you for taking care of her! Will you please give us a call and tell us where she is so we can come get her? We miss her so much and we know she misses us too. We would like to have her back home with her family!
Anya was rescued from an abusive home several years ago. After being rescued, Anya immediately bonded with our son. They are the best of friends! She is extremely timid and frightens easily around strangers, but is playful and happy and puppy-like around our son. She experiences terrible separation anxiety when she is not with him. We know that right now she is acting depressed and is suffering from being away from our son for so long, and of course our son is likewise, from being away from her. Please help Anya to be reunited with our family!
We are offering a CASH REWARD to the person who provides us with the information that ultimately brings Anya safely home to our family---no questions asked. Please give us a call using the phone number listed in the "reply" box at the top left of this page.
