Duties
• Receive all deliveries; inspect shipments and document any damage or defects in the receiving log in accordance with HACCP guidelines.
• Unpack and verify shipment accuracy against invoices, packing slips, and/or purchase orders; record any discrepancies.
• Distribute and organize items to the appropriate departments or designated locations.
• Conduct periodic physical inventory counts and verify inventory accuracy as required.
• Maintain the warehouse and freezer in a clean, organized, safe, and sanitary condition at all times.
• Recommend proper disposal of excess supplies, furniture, and equipment to optimize warehouse space utilization.
• Loads and unloads pallets from cold storage and disperses in designated location.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor (e.g., shipping, gift assembly, Shipping boxes building, scanning, printing extra shipping labels).
• Assist the baking team with organizing and storing bulk brownies in the freezer.
• Distribute freezer items using the FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory system.
• Prepare and verify pallets of brownies and gift items for off-site cold storage.
• Collaborate with team members and assist other departments as needed.
• Adapt to evolving responsibilities as the shipping department grows.
• Perform all duties with integrity, honesty, and efficiency.
Requirements
• RAYMOND FORKLIFT ( STAND UP )
• Previous warehouse experience with forklift and pallet jacks.
• Forklift certification.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and work well under pressure.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift-up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working in varying temperatures, including below-freezing conditions.
• Flexible schedule, including availability for overtime, rotating shifts, and weekends
