Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to produce precision parts according to blueprints and specifications. This position plays a key role in maintaining quality standards, meeting production deadlines, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities:
• Set up and operate CNC mills and/or lathes
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions
• Select appropriate tooling and make necessary machine adjustments
• Perform quality inspections using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments
• Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot issues as needed
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Document production results and maintain accurate records
Who We Are Looking For
• 2+ years of CNC machining experience preferred
• Ability to read blueprints and understand GD&T
• Experience with CNC controls (Fanuc, Haas, Mazak, etc.) preferred
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification a plus
