Amazing sounding versatile amp. Musicians recognize how great these amps are and they are becoming quite sought after and collectable. Soldano tones with a fraction of the cost.
The Peavey VK100 head features a patent-pending, variable Class A-A/B control called Texture, which allows sweepable selection between Class A and Class A/B power structures, as well as any combination of the two. With this feature, guitarists can coax virtually any tone from the VK100. The amp's power and preamp sections use four 6L6GC and three 12AX7 tubes, respectively.
Additional standard features on the Peavey VK100 head include two footswitchable channels with independent, three-band EQ and volume, plus a footswitchable gain/volume boost on the lead channel to provide extra volume for solos. The VK100 head also features global resonance, presence and spring reverb controls, a buffered effects loop and dual speaker jacks in parallel.
The Speaker Cab houses four Emminence Legend 12 inch 16 ohm Speakers with 480 Watts RMS power handling (Wired for 4 ohms in the cabinet)
