Ed Van Halen's '04 Charvel EVH Art Series San Antonio Tour Guitar Case - $750 (Fountain Hills)

Edward Van Halen first introduced his custom designed EVH Art Series guitars during the Van Halen Summer Tour 2004 reunion with Sammy Hagar as part of Charvel’s 25th Anniversary Celebration.
Edward personally hand-striped a total of 300 one-of-one unique designs and featured the guitars on stage during 3 different Van Halen tours from 2004-2012.
The 2004 Charvel EVH Art Series Tour Guitars were featured on songs such as Up For Breakfast, Somebody Get Me A Doctor, Top of The World, Unchained, and Why Can’t This Be Love.
The ‘evhguitarshop’ sold each of his freshly stage played and signed guitar masterpieces with their custom embroidered EVH logo cases through eBay auctions within just a couple weeks after each show where they were played. Opening bids were $5150, but a couple of the New York guitars sold for as much as $50,100.02!!
There are a handful of Hard Rock Casino Resorts that proudly showcase some of Edward Van Halen's Charvel EVH Art Series Tour Guitars within their collection. It baffles me that they decided to sell the original custom cases featuring Edward Van Halen's EVH logo inside, along with a bunch of other rock n roll memorabilia that was in storage years ago, but I'm grateful to have had the opportunity to enjoy a couple of the cases within my collection.
* Edward Van Halen played (3) unique white & black striped Charvel EVH Art Series Tour Guitars on the Van Halen Summer Tour 2004 at the SBC Center in San Antonio, TX on 9/28/04.
* "San Antonio" has been written on the left latch of the case hardware with black Sharpie marker and is mostly smeared off now but is still legible. (See Photos)
* The key was apparently lost at one point because each of the locking latches are slightly bent open but they still work and lock. (See Photos)

* The last photo of EVH's white and black striped Charvel on display at the Hard Rock Cafe in Cincinnati, OH is believed to be the actual guitar which was originally paired with this case and played in San Antonio, TX. (See Photos - Guitar not included)
* I recently contacted the Hard Rock Casino in Cincinnati and confirmed that the "San Antonio, TX" guitar is still on display in their cafe. I offered them first right of refusal to reunite it with the original case that they chose to part with years ago but they are still not interested in storing guitar cases or adding it to their display.
