This 1982 neck-through body, made in Japan guitar was made just after the “RICO” but before the full NJ series. This guitar was made in that transitional period where B.C. Rich’s Japanese production was evolving and possibly quite limited in production quantity.
Historical significance:
The R RICH guitars represent, “The missing link between the B.C. Rico imports and the NJ Series — Japan’s finest era of BC Rich craftsmanship.”
They’re sought after by serious BC Rich collectors because: U.S. production was expensive and low-volume, Later NJ guitars were mass-produced and bolt-neck, the R RICH builds show incredible quality control and tone — some of the best non-U.S. BC Rich guitars ever made.
100% original, has new case and gig bag.
