2008 Epiphone Masterbilt AJ500RENS in XLNT condition. These Epiphone solid-wood guitars (solid back, top and sides) are incredible - and this rosewood/ spruce edition is very hard to find. The newest iteration of this instrument from Epiphone is solid ovangkol (very much like rosewood) - and the price is well over $1100. While there are a lot of the AJ 500 series available in maple, the rosewood editions are hard to find because they're being held on to... and for good reason! They are not only incredibly well built, but they sound deep, clear and wonderful! The unplugged tone of this guitar rivals many high-end acoustics. The only mods are Dunlop strap locks, installation of a "plate mate" and the add-on, hard wired Fishman pickup. It comes with a decent hard case and nice, wide 3" leather strap. Price is $700... trades?

The designation AJ500RENS stands for:
A - acoustic
J - jumbo
500 - series
R - rosewood
E - electrified
N - natural color
S - satin finish

This instrument is not entirely stock electronically (the built-in E-Sonic system was admittedly never much good, although the controller is still installed with a functioning on-board tuner) but the physical condition is near perfect, although there is an extremely small ding on the front.
