Early 1950s Leslie Model 31 rotating speaker cabinet in very good working condition. The cabinet is in good shape.
These single 12" driver units with rotating wooden drum are very popular among guitarists. The same type of rotating speaker technology was made famous by The Beatles and later used by guitarists including David Gilmour, Eric Clapton, Robin Trower, Jeff Beck and Jimi Hendrix.
The single rotating bass/midrange drum produces a rich, organic modulation that many guitarists appreciate, without the separate rotating treble horn found in later organ Leslies. Less moving parts and no ancient crossover with drifted component values to muck things up.
This unit does not have an amplifier, just the interface box. I do have a refurbished Model 25 amplifier in excellent condition, sold separately for $395 (includes tubes).
The second photo is of the motor assembly with the motor at the top and the brake actuator at the bottom. I'll post more photos of the cabinet when I get my son over here to help me move the Leslie into a better position for photographs.
I also have various original half moon switches, interface boxes and cables available at extra cost.
