I can keep rhythm no problem but as far as soloing goes, nope. I have a lot of material, most of it is good, maybe it's shit, who knows? I'm in my 40's and would like to start a band with people that can dedicate the time to making this a reality. I've been playing for almost 4 years and my technique would enrage any guitar purist that sees me play. I practice at least an hour each day, work on the songs I have laid out or create new ones. They range from hard rock , alternative, to indie stuff. Maybe a couple pop songs which I hate to admit but a lifetime of listening to music has given me the ability to play across all genres. Even country. So, if you're a bass player or play drums and want to form a band hmu. I get along with just about everyone unless you're a complete dirtbag or self absorbed asshole. I'm thinking of something along the lines of Nirvana meets Blink with a tiny dash of Green Day back before they became famous, a pinch of TDG, some Twelve Foot Ninja on the side washed down with a nice tall glass of wtf is this.
