This is NOT a sit-down position. Our staff stay active throughout the day with community outings, walking, recreational activities, gym activities, farm work, life skills training, and keeping members engaged in meaningful daily activities.
We are looking for individuals who are:
* Dependable and responsible
* Patient and respectful
* Active and hands-on
* Team-oriented
* Willing to learn and accept coaching
* Passionate about helping others
Duties may include:
* Supporting members during daily activities and community outings
* Assisting with life skills and recreational activities
* Maintaining member safety and engagement
* Completing daily documentation and logs
* Assisting with transportation when needed
* Promoting independence, inclusion, and respect
Physical Requirements:
* Walking and standing for extended periods
* Outdoor activities and stairs
* Assisting members with daily routines
* Ability to lift 50+ pounds when needed
Requirements:
* Must be at least 18 years old
* CPR/First Aid and Article 9 preferred (training opportunities may be available)
* Valid Fingerprint Clearance Card preferred
* Valid AZ Driver License required if transporting members
Experience is a plus, but NOT required. We believe hardworking, coachable, and caring individuals can succeed in this role regardless of background or experience.
