Yes it still works. I thought a problem was my ignition switch but it turned out to just be a fuse. I was not going to take it apart again to return it. Now I have the original laying around.

If you need one, I have one. They are at least 46.00 at autozone. The one I replaced it with is a Duralast LS1029.
