I'm semi-retired and remain active in the workforce by being a member of temp agencies as well as working from home as a medical transcriptionist. My work history consists mostly of being a legal word processor or legal assistant.
I have the capability of performing word processing/transcription services from home if your office is seeking an independent contractor.
I’m proficient with the popular software packages used in offices today such as MS-Word, WordPerfect, PowerPoint, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, and various graphics packages. My typing speed has been scored at 74 words per minute, but more importantly I’m accurate and a careful proofreader.
I’m a military veteran with a strong work ethic. On a personal note, I was raised in Scottsdale, Arizona, then lived in San Diego for many years, and have recently returned to Arizona and live in Apache Junction. I’m available for working late when necessary, working weekends, working staggered shifts, or being on-call.
