Retail Receiving Associate

The base pay for this position is $17.50 per hour.

Hours: 20 hours per week 

Store hours: 

Monday -Surday: 10am -8pm

Sunday: 11AM-7PM

Wh you’ll do:

• As an authentic brand ambassador for the Wayfair family, lead and cree a best in class customer experience by connecting them with the world's biggest and best home online assortment brought to life in our stores.

• Manage and monitor stock levels, merchandise adjacencies,  presentions, signing, and assortment in all departments to ensure the sales-floor is adequely stocked. Maintain visual standards required by Wayfair and Tanger Outlets.

• Support customer fulfillment across all channels leveraging all services including (order pick up, incoming inventory).

• Maintaining visual standards, replenishment, safety and backroom standards.

• Participe in all operional aspects of the store including but not limited to: processing new products, floor sets, replenishment, substitutions and general upkeep of the store

• Exemplify a positive and professional titude on a daily basis with customers and your team members.

• Bring a willingness to share innovive ideas and solutions to continuously improve team operions.

• Engage in a high energy, focused and dynamic work environment where there can be rapid changes in products, promotions, offerings and operions.

• Assist with furniture delivery to customer's vehicles

Criteria:

• 1+ years of stock receiving required, retail and/or customer service experience preferred

• Positive titude and passion for gre customer service 

• Strong organizion, self-motivion, communicion and relionship management skills.

• Demonstred ability to work within a team environment.

• Proficiency in Google and Microsoft Office applicions preferred.

• All employees will be expected to represent the brand through polished communicion, personal appearance and professionalism.

Essential Functions:

• Excellent verbal communicion skills.

• Excellent active listening skills.

• Positive, professional titude and demonstred enthusiasm for supporting customers

• Technical acumen to learn necessary software (google and microsoft office) to manage inventory and price items 

• Ability to process informion and merchandise through a computer system and POS register system.

Physical Requirements:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit; regularly climb or balance; and frequently stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must be comfortable repeedly lifting up to 75 pounds unassisted and maneuvering product 150+ pounds unassisted or via team lift.

• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Working Hours:

At Wayfair and our family of brands, we strive to provide our employees with a work schedule th protects their work/life balance and takes their scheduling preferences into considerion. Please understand due to the nure of the retail industry, your shift schedule will vary. However, we will work to provide you with your schedule a minimum of 2 weeks in advance, and you will have the opportunity to trade with teammes as needed.

Our store hours are Monday - Surday: 10am - 8pm & Sunday 11am - 7pm. Employee shifts may include two hours before or after store hours.
