I have been living as independent a life as possible, with the help of live-in caregivers for the past 20 years. I have had past caregivers from diverse backgrounds stay 1–5 years. Using it to save money, pay off debt, afford school, or gain healthcare experience.
I live in a 3,000 sq ft home in a quiet neighborhood near ASU. In exchange for 20 hours/week of hands-on caregiving, you'll live rent-free in a private, partly furnished, 500 sq ft attached apartment (bedroom, bathroom, good-sized closet, kitchenette, living area with bed, couch, TV). Includes laundry access, wireless internet, cable, water, power, and all other utilities.
