I have a variety of helmets, this one is perfect protection for the budding XC racer, or smaller head. DO NOT skimp in this area if you are a parent.

Coveted 5 star rating for protection by Virginia Tech. The big elements to notice is the MIPS concussion protection, and the more protective Co-molded EPP and EPS bonded 3-piece shell. Most helmets use EPS alone. Very ventilated and cool here. The colors and slot ventilation keep the head very cool while not compromizing on concussion protection
