I have for sale a Craftsman chain saw. It has a 20 inch bar, 46 cc 2 cycle engine.
I bought a few raffle tickets at some charity and this saw was one of the raffle items. I initially thought the saw was new because there are no physical scratches or signs of wear. Everything looks like new. Someone pointed out to me that the gas tank has the smell of gas, so I am assuming that at some point someone has started it to see if it worked. It has been sitting in my garage for over a year and I really have no need for it.
A few months back, I did try to start it with no luck. I took it to a local hardware store that repairs small engine tools. They told me that it most likely needed a new carborator. Their estimate was more than what I wanted to spend on a saw I didn't really need. I did purchase a new carborator from Amazon, along with a few other parts. I am selling this as a "HANDYMAN'S SPECIAL".
It is your chance to get a great deal on this large chain saw. I do not know what this sells for new (I guess $350 - $400). I am asking only $120 and remember it comes with a new carborator and a few other parts. Over all, it is in LIKE NEW CONDITION.
If interested, please call or email (NO TEXTS AS I DO NOT RESPOND TO TEXT MESSAGES) to arrange a time to look at it. I live in the east side of Mesa and I am retired so I am flexible on days and time.
