XL grow tent, powerful yet efficient lights and air circulation, water chiller for root health, water pumps, air pump, hardware controllers, etc. Hardware was selected primarily for performance and longevity. Lighting and exhaust are to maximize light output and circulation for 9x9 tent. Chiller, water pumps, air pump are over-engineered for roughly a 100+ gallon RDWC system.
I DIY’d the system with (6) 27 gallon totes to maximize root size and by extension plant size for the available room footprint. 3” diameter rigid PVC/ABS was used for plumbing outflow between totes and to reservoir. Flexible vinyl tubing was used from reservoir to first tote. Please note that images provided for totes and plumbing are to provide an example of my setup. However, this portion of the setup was consumable due to being chemically welded together and unable to be broken down without destruction. It is not included, but could easily be replicated. All major hardware components are included and are listed below in detail, with links provided to individual products.
All hardware for sale was only used for one grow cycle. Despite the success of this system, I unfortunately had to disband the project after completion due to changes in living circumstances (home to apartment). Equipment is all in great condition and has been cleaned and sanitized thoroughly. If you’d like any additional information, I have links to all of the products and video of the system running. Upgraded controller that dynamically adjusts fan speed based on temperature and humidity conditions to produce optimal airflow. I’ve included standard T8 controller as well, but that standard version only kicks fans on to pre-set fan speed when triggered by temp/humidity limits. Includes AC Infinity temp and humidity probe for reading tent conditions (in addition to Gavita probes for lights).
