A love letter from a well-traveled trailer looking for the right hands.
My name isn't on the title — I'm just called the Escaper. But for the family who owned me, I was so much more than that. I was the place where coffee tasted better, where laughter echoed late into the night, where children fell asleep to the sound of the road and woke up somewhere new and beautiful.
We crossed this country together. State lines. Back roads. Long stretches of open sky that made everyone go quiet and just look.
I carried their joy. I held their adventures. Every campsite, every detour, every "let's just see where this road goes" — I was there for all of it. I was freedom. I was home on wheels. I was the best version of their summers.
Then life happened, as it does. I was parked. I was stored. And without the road beneath me, without the sun warming my roof — I fell into disrepair. Water found its way in. Rodents made themselves at home. It broke my family's heart. It broke mine too.
But I am not gone. I am a project. And the right person will see that.
My bones are good. My slides still work. My propane stove will light for you. My solar panels remember what sunlight feels like. The roof has been resealed — no new leaks since 2024. I have a clean title, ready for whoever is brave enough to love me back to life.
I am not looking for someone who needs a perfect trailer. I am looking for someone who needs a dream — and is willing to work for it. Someone with vision, with patience, with that itch for the open road that just won't quit.
I have one last adventure left in me. Maybe many. I just need the right family to believe it too.
