Local Phoenix cars are gathered in advance to our yard by us (not the Driver) and loaded in the proper order by us, not the Driver. Driver shows up and the Transport is loaded and ready to go. The Truck is a 2024 Freightliner Cascadia 126 with an Automatic Transmission. The Trailer is a Sun Valley 8-car shown in picture (with the trailers compressed for trip). Equipment is well maintained.
Driver will deliver 8 cars to Houston (usually to about 5-7 drop offs), pick up 6-7 cars from around Houston (usually about 3-5 locations) and return. Local deliveries in Phoenix area are handled by us, not the Driver. (When the Driver gets back, he parks the truck in the yard and is off until the same starting time next week)
Home EVERY week - Drive/hustle/drive, then off for 2-3 nights each week (usually 3 nights). The job requires adequate health. If you're in really poor health, this will probably not work for you. Driver MUST be able to Speak, Read, and Write English. Dispatch is handled by the Company. We use Motive ELD's (Motive was formerly Keep Truckin), PrePass, FastPass EZ-Tag and a Fuel Card.
Driver is paid weekly (Same exact amount every week worked). Starting Pay is $78k per year (W-2) and can go higher. This position is available as an excellent Driver of our's is moving out of state to take care of a family member. Position will be open until we find the right person and is full time with work available 52 weeks per year. Time off is available upon request.
Company is small, very effective, debt free and family owned and operated since 2010 with a 100.00% rating after 26,940 cars hauled. Consistent work every week unless you want a week off. We have serviced this route multiple times per week for 15 years now so most of the pick up locations are familiar. We are a 3 truck operation with a very stable team and I have one spot to fill.
