LOCAL Monday Thru Friday CDL Class B (Class A Welcome) Delivery job at a Wholesale Food Distributor located in Tempe (I-10 and Elliot) has an opening for an experienced Box Truck "DELIVERY" Driver for a Monday through Friday Route.

You will make up $1,000 to $1,500 a week (average over $1,200).
($24.00 for first 40 hours and then $36.00 for 5 to 10 hours O.T. each week for hours over 40)
You are home every night in this Local Job but do know once you are experienced & know the product well
you will eligible to go to Flagstaff, Yuma, Tuscan-Sierra Vista for extra Overtime.
Class A Drivers are welcome if you are ok with the hands on local delivery.
You can also then cover our out of town routes occasionally where you will get paid a lot more
and could do that eventually down the road if you like but for now, this is a local class B job.
You Deliver Wholesale Food in a 26 foot Class B Box Truck with a lift gate using Hand Dollies
(mostly to Restaurants but also to some grocery stores)
We prefer someone who has delivered lot of different products because we have nearly 100 SKU's
& will make anywhere from 10 to 16 stops a day and will will usually make 4 to 5 trips in and out.
(Don't worry, they will have someone go with for the first 2 to 4 weeks to help train you)
It requires good driving skills as well as the ability to get up and down out of commercial class B trucks often
when making your 10 to 15 stops each day (about 4 trips in and out of truck at each stop but do know that you have a lift gate).
You must have a good driving record (one ticket in last 3 years or two tickets in last 5 years is OK.
Also note that a criminal background will be performed in addition to a DRUG TEST prior to employment.
Sorry but NO Theft related FELONIES, and No DUI'S or Reckless Driving in last 5 years for this job.
