The appliances are front load with stainless steel tub and they can be stacked. Both run and in fact the dryer as if taken out of the box yesterday. The washer runs but if you strap a saddle on the top, will give you quite a fun ride as it bucks across the laundry room floor. The dryer needs 240v to run and is missing the electric cable. The washer is 120v but the drain hose has separated at the washer outlet and will need to be replaced. While the washer runs the drum mechanism will need to be fixed some day. Both have been together for some time and are sold together as-is.
