Curtis Jeré is a compound nom-de-plume of artists Curtis Freiler and Jerry Fels. In C. Jeré’s works, which range from representational to highly abstract, brass, copper, and other metals are sheared, crimped, torched, and welded before being coated with luminous patinas.
