Avion Aluminum aircraft riveted double wall foam core construction.
Independent suspention pulls very smooth, doesn't sway at all.
Old interior 85% removed.
Reconstructed interior to fit my needs, a bit minimalistic/ 0rimitive, removed all water/electrical except trailer lights. Has plug in (2l 110v set up, solar, and generator.
2 independent solar systems
low wattage 400w total input
charge from panels,
4 batteries - 5000amp capacity
1) 1000w inverter for fridge,
1) 3000w inverter for plug in appliances - microwave, toaster oven, blender and other 1500-2500watt appliances.
Systems provide what i need for interior lights, fans, refrigerator, plug in devices, recharging all my rechargeable tools and battery devices, basically everything and anything non industrial. In Arizona sun, needed more solar, theres plenty of sun the systems easily return to 100% each day *not i clusing AC, generator or plug in is required. Solar cannot support the ac systems.
2 A/C systems, 110, keep it cool in direct sun, never attempted in July/August, but did well in June/September running both systems, now October/November using only 1 at a time. Heat using a 1500w general space heater.
Includes is 4500w generator (new last summer rarely used) to power the two 110 a/c systems.
Set it all up to run off grid if needed using solar/gas generator, or plug in to 110v at developed sights.
Tires are new.
It Pulls great. Its been a great trailer to use here in Arizona.
It had a lot to do if you want a perfect restored/redone trailer, a lot. Or use it as i have made it, been more work since pics, I need to update it, but basically eqch time i tqke it out i do alittle more to make it personalized and closer to finished. I made it usable as is. It stays cool about 80-90 inside sitting in the sun when its about 105 out, plugged into 20amp 110 site provided electrical. I didn't attempt mid June-mid August at all.
Trade for 4x4 v8 truck, fullsize preferably ford dodge chevy, i dont expect perfect but had to roadworthy and in usable condition. Could be old or later model. Could go 2wd too, but preferring 4x4.
Looking at values for these avions/Airstream all over from 1000 thats been sitting 20 years to 40k restored beautifully. I think 5 is fair for this.
Its not prettiest but chassis and body is solid has no corrosion/rust, rides like a caddy inside when in tow. Theres newer all ready pretty mint rv trailers prob for less if that's what your looking for. This is my time capsule to 1974.
9500 with everything, 7000 less solar/ generator, thats about it. Oh yeah, barter/ trade for gen3 trans am firebird/ Camaro c10 c20 c20 k5 k10 k20 bronco blazer ram charger trail duster Toyota Tacoma that runs ans drives and doesn't have corrosion, basically functional as this, or something interesting, maybe a adventure bike or side by side
