A word of caution about buying a Chinese electric bike on Amazon. Got any idea how fast these
brands come and go? What if you get a dud battery and nobody from the company in China will
retun your call or email? You will need at least a kilowatt battery if you weigh 200 pounds
or more. A vintage Schwinn weighs around 33 pounds, a small electric weighs 53 pounds. That
matters if you have to peddle it home. Ever try to straighten a bent aluminum frame or rim?
don't bother trying. And you get all that for several tines what youy'd pay for a vintage bike
that has proved it will get you the exercise you want a bike for without falling for the
latest fad bike that will end up in the corner of your garage, worthless.
