We’re Not Looking for Someone to Maintain a Purchasing Department.
We’re looking for someone who wants to build one.
At Gruber Companies, we believe purchasing should be a competitive advantage—not simply an administrative function.
We’re looking for someone who enjoys asking:
• Why do we do it this way?
• Is there a better process?
• How can we reduce costs without sacrificing quality?
• How can we help every department perform better?
If solving problems energizes you, developing people is rewarding, and building better systems excites you, we’d like to meet you.

Who We Are
Gruber Companies is a privately owned organization serving customers through manufacturing, distribution, e-commerce, and technical services.
We’re growing, evolving, and investing in our future. That means we need leaders who aren’t satisfied with simply managing today’s workload—they’re excited about creating tomorrow’s processes.
This isn’t a “keep the wheels turning” position.
This is an opportunity to help shape how purchasing and inventory operate for years to come.

Who Will Thrive Here
This role is for someone who naturally asks questions, enjoys solving difficult problems, and likes making things better.
You’ll likely be successful if you:
• Enjoy improving existing processes.
• Take ownership instead of waiting to be told what to do.
• Like developing people and watching them succeed.
• Can influence others through trust rather than authority.
• Enjoy learning new industries and products.
• Can balance analytical thinking with practical execution.
• Are excited by growth and change rather than intimidated by it.

We value initiative.
Along with your resume, please include a brief paragraph answering this question:
Tell us about one process you improved at a previous employer. What was the problem, what did you change, and what measurable improvement resulted?
We’re less interested in titles and more interested in how you think.
If helping build something better sounds exciting, we’d love to hear from you.
