Rainstick, a traditional musical instrument made from a hollow tube of dried cactus or wood. The inside of the tube contains small pebbles or beads that trickle down through internal pins or thorns, mimicking the sound of falling rain.
It is often used in traditional ceremonies and for meditation, producing a mesmerizing, soothing sound. The one in the image features decorative crocheted yarn wrapped around one end.
