This is a vintage American Bisque ceramic planter with a baby nursery theme, featuring a little boy rag doll sitting next to a toy alphabet block. The doll is painted in green and pink while the block is yellow and displays the raised letters H, I and J. Planter measures about 5.5" tall to the top of the doll's head, about 7.25" across or long, and 3" from front to back. It has the "wedge bottom" that American Bisque is known for. On one toe of the doll you can see a tiny white speck that might be a chip in the surface of the glaze, but I really can't tell if it's just a little manufacturing flaw. In any case, it's hardly noticeable, and other than that there are no chips or cracks. The colors are bright and vivid. It's a very cute mid-century piece, looking especially nice for its age. Asking $12.00 obo. Everything I have listed for sale is "or best offer", so feel free to make an offer.

I sell a lot of items on Craigslist, so please take a look at my other stuff (sometimes free items as well). I come from a huge family of serious hoarders, so... Well, some people have yard sales, but I'm not able to do that, so I do this instead. It clears out the house and helps me get the last of my kids through college. All you have to do is search the word SALMAGUNDI on Craigslist, and all of my items should come up for you.
