This is a non-running project with excellent southwest body. New interior. Was a flathead 185 6 with 3-speed/OD trans.
When I got it 5 years ago it ran ok, but smoked badly. Brakes were so-so and steering was definately armstrong. I pulled the engine to replace it with a fresh(er) 185 that I was cleaning and installing new gaskets. I still have that engine on a stand. The OD trans was rebuilt with new solenoid and a floor shift conversion, but not reinstalled (floor is not cut) The brakes are converted to later Studebaker finned 11" drums in front. The steering was being converted to recirculating ball from a 63 Lark. The steering box still needs to be installed.
Powder coated original grill and tail light housings (President lenses)
Original 58 radio was converted to AM/FM stereo and aux cable input ($500 at the time)
This car, an original Scotsman, was dealer fitted with a full Climitizer system, clock and windshield washers.
The vacuum wiper motor was rebuilt and works fine. I have the painted headlight doors, just liked the chrome ones better.
New driveshaft & ujoints
New Parks exhaust
Could be easily put back to near original, or is an ideal candidate for whatever engine you'd like to see in it. I'll throw in a Studebaker Dana 44 if that is your plan.
Original steelies with Commander hubcaps included.

Clean AZ title in my name. Car lived in Nevada when I purchased it. Rust free (that's pretty hard to say about most Studebakers)
