Selling my 2009 BMW 128i. This is super fun to drive, but it’s time to move on to something else. It has the N52 naturally aspirated inline-6 engine, known for being one of BMW’s most solid motors and offering that classic BMW stuck to the ground feel.
The Good:
Clean Arizona Title in my name (no liens/brands).
Cold AC — essential for the upcoming summer.
Recent Maintenance: Oil change done 1,500 miles ago.
Newer Battery
Body is straight; interior is decent for the age.
Mileage: 231k miles.
Check Engine Light: The light is currently on.
Warm Start Issue: The car starts and runs great when cold. However, after driving it and letting it sit (warm start), it occasionally struggles to fire up. Once it cools down, it starts fine.
Cosmetics: Typical Arizona sun fade/clear coat peeling on the hood and roof (see photos). Headlights could use a polish.
Price: $2,400 OBO.
I am looking for a straightforward cash sale. This is a great car for a BMW enthusiast or a mechanic who can diagnose the warm-start sensor/fuel issue.
Location: Phoenix (Uptown area)
Please message me with your name and when you’d like to come take a look. As-is sale.2009 BMW 128i Coupe Black- Super Fun and Fast
