Selling my mother’s Mercedes E350….she purchased the car in 2008 with about 17,000 miles….I believe she’s the second owner and that it’s also an Arizona car…..she’s a non smoker and doesn’t have pets…..she’s in her late 70’s and isn’t the type to drive the car hard…….at about 98,000 miles she had the transmission replaced with a transmission with 69,000 miles and replaced the intake manifold which is a common issue with this particular engine….she also had shocks, brakes, motor mounts and transmission mounts done I believe in the low 110k’s to 120k’s miles but since she can’t find the receipt I can’t be sure on the mileage. All the specs are in the pictures from Mercedes.
Check engine light came on….code P0410…..secondary air injection system malfunction….could be the pump (Bosch pump on partsgeek.com for $229) or fuse and/or relay…..the code has been cleared but will probably be an issue for emissions…..the pump is right on the top of the engine so should be relatively easy to fix for somebody handy
The driver’s front window only goes up 3/4 of the way
The car will not go into gear…..it presently is parked on an incline and I think the reason that the car won’t go into gear is that it’s low on transmission fluid…. I don’t know for sure….the car will need to be towed and I have AAA so can tow it to your shop.
