-------I am contributing $5k towards the replacement of a perfectly good IMS bearing. ------
Just dropped the price from $35k to $30k to part ways with my absolute favorite vehicle I've ever owned. I purchased this low mileage rare condition vehicle from the original owner who meticulously pampered for 21 years before passing it on to me. Unfortunately, I will leaving my job soon and I need to downsize. Since I will be replacing it with a less expensive vehicle, I am open to the trading for the following:
This vehicle is in rare Barrett Jackson mint condition with the following services performed recently:
- New Michelin Pilot Sport Tires
- 4 Wheel Alignment
- Water Pump
- Oil Change with filter inspection
- Transmission Fluid Change
- Front and Rear Differential Fluid Change
- Convertible Top Cylinder (Rams) Rebuilt
- Window Regulator
When I say mint condition, it is not an exaggeration - it is perfect from front to back. It is a 10 inside and outside, under the hood and under the body. It is mechanically sound having been recently serviced and barely driven. The IMS bearing has been inspected annually with oil samples. According to the experts, only 5% suffer IMS bearing failure. After 23 years, it appears this vehicle could very well fall within the 95% category of those that last a lifetime. However, most potential buyers have fallen for the deceptive advertising so I will acquiesce and lower the price to accommodate this waste of money. The vehicle recently appraised for $41k, my price is $30k firm.
