Here’s a classic quadraphonic setup that’s ready to bring some vintage flavor to your listening room. The Akai 1730D-SS reel-to-reel handles 4-track playback with smooth operation and solid build, showing some missing veneer that adds a bit of vintage patina. The Pioneer QX-949 quadraphonic receiver has all the decoding options you need for true four-channel sound, plenty of power, and an unmistakable ’70s look.
