Here's the scoop for the Power Enhancer 1 (PE-1)-
The Audio Power Industries Power Enhancer 1 is a parallel filter and is specifically designed for audio and A/V equipment. The effect of the PE-1 is another 5 to 6 db of noise reduction above 30 Hz. It also has a built in AC voltage meter for monitoring your power lines voltage. It is designed for systems with high current power amps and/or very noisy AC power. The Power Enhancer provides additional parallel filtering and increased power line damping. Simply plug this into any outlet which your system is connected to and it was reported it would eliminate spikes, lower noise floor.
It comes with it's own heavy duty power cable. The original store price sticker ($279) is still on the unit. $125.00
