A one pound bag of tobacco costs around $15 and it can make about 400 cigarettes which is two cartons. I'm including about 400 cigarette tubes but if you had to buy them they would cost about $14. So that's less than $30 for two cartons of cigarettes. Two cartons of Marlboros will run you well over $130 so that's a savings of over $100. This machine will pay for itself after less than half a carton.
And in case you're not aware of what a cigarette tube is, it's exactly like a cigarette except it's missing the tobacco. In other words, it's the paper and the filter already put together exactly like a cigarette. You stick it on the machine, drop some tobacco into the spot in the machine, then pull the lever and the machine basically jams the tobacco into the cigarette tube making you a whole cigarette.
