This is a pair of classic modern stackable lightweight counter-height stools. Designed by Paul Newman, they are great for kitchen counter seating where you want a light agile clean look. They are full-size, but on the narrow side, so great where space is limited. They work great sitting on the steel slats, and easily made cushier (and/or more colorful) with a pillow or pad. Included are two of our DYI seat pads - the photo shows the color felt-ball pad my partner made. The other is a simple gray stadium seat pad that matches perfectly.

Note that these are counter height, NOT bar height. So they work at a typical 36" kitchen counter.
