Meet Cienegas Cowgirl AKA Jessie a AQHA and foundation certified mare standing 15.3h.
Cienegas is a very well seasoned teacher with a lot left to give . She was my students first gymkhana horse who taught her the speed with gymkhana , barrel , and pole racing . She has owned her for the last six ish years . Now her rider is off to college and she doesn’t want her horses to sit as she knows Jessie loves to be involved and still has so much more gas in her tank!
I would recommend a novice / intermediate rider . Jessie is NOT a dead head and still has plenty gas . However she is such a good teacher and would do great in a lesson program. I currently have been giving lessons off of her and she has had several green non horse family members on her the last several years randomly to puts around . Walk , trott , lope very smooth and pretty circles . Direct and neck rein . Moves off body and leg pressure etc .
Jessie has been hauled to barrel races and gymkhanas all over Arizona and some in Vegas . She is great hauling and being stalled over night at an event . Jessie LOVES cows too!! She has done sorting/ penning and a smidge of breakaway practice with the dummy sled and the slow trotters out of the box . She did do ranch style work and ranch style roping in the past as well. Very well mannered and quiet on the trails, she does prefer a buddy with her but will go out by herself. She also is a great pony horse and had helped gentle and halter train donkeys and babies !
Jessie is up to date on Ferrier , vaccines , de wormer , and dental . She stands tied for hours , loads amazing , and stands to be groomed, saddle , shawed etc . Jessie is ready to teach and allow another rider to grow now !
