I am looking for a two bedroom apartment or house with my girlfriend. I need to be on first floor, but I am also looking for an owner who will work with credit. To make a long story short, I went through a divorce and my ex is legally obligated to pay the rent that she skipped out on. However, because I was on the lease, I still show as owing it. I have good rental history otherwise, great income, and can provide character references directly from my school, as well as pay a larger deposit.
