Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
• Min 3 years’ experience in Drywall repairs and finishing
• Ability to handle physical workload (lift 50 lbs., work on tall scaffolding and ladders)
• Working knowledge and understanding of multiple skilled trades relevant to the custom residential construction industry
• Deadline and detail oriented
• Working knowledge of hand and power tools pertinent to trade
• Ability to work with minimal to no supervision.
• Proficient in hanging, patch work, texturing and finishing
• Ability to match and complete multiple textures/finishes.
• Complete work and repair orders in a timely fashion
• Estimate time and extent of repairs.
• Be able to perform small to large drywall repairs.
• Measure and mark cutting lines on drywall panels, using a ruler, pencil, chalk, and marking gauge.
• Cut and shape drywall panels to fit walls and ceilings, using hand and power tools.
• Install drywall panels onto metal or wood framing, using screws or other fasteners.
• Apply tape and joint compound to seal and smooth seams between drywalls panels.
• Duties will also include prep work, sanding, painting with a brush roller or sprayer.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and manuals.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Communicate with Project managers to assure you understand the job scope and materials needed.
Must be eligible to work in the United States.
Job Type: Full-time, Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm
Pay: $28-$30 per hour DOE
