Duties
* Perform routine pool cleaning, including skimming, vacuuming, brushing walls, and emptying skimmer baskets to keep pools pristine.
* Conduct regular pool water testing and adjust chemical levels to ensure safe and balanced water quality.
* Inspect and maintain pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorinators; troubleshoot issues promptly.
* Repair or replace faulty equipment using hand tools and power tools, ensuring minimal downtime.
* Follow established safety procedures during all maintenance activities to protect yourself and clients.
* Document all maintenance work performed, including repairs made and chemicals added, in detailed logs.
* Assist with seasonal opening and closing procedures for pools to prepare them for peak usage or winter shutdown.
Skills
* Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and repair pool equipment efficiently.
* Experience with pool maintenance tasks such as cleaning, chemical balancing, and water testing.
* Proficiency with hand tools and power tools necessary for equipment repair and maintenance.
* Knowledge of pool systems including filtration, circulation, heating, and chemical treatment processes.
* Service technician experience is highly valued for delivering professional customer service.
* Ability to follow safety protocols diligently while handling chemicals and electrical equipment.
* Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a proactive approach to maintenance challenges.
