>>> Marley went missing one Saturday when we let her outside. We’d been testing the outdoors for about 2 weeks and all of the cats seemed to LOVE it! Later that night we went to get everyone in and 2 of our cats never came home. We didn’t worry too much, as they’d stayed overnight before and were on the porch the next morning.
>>> Sunday morning rolled around and our one cat, Sadie, was there but Marley was not. We began to worry so I started posting on social media and calling for her. Monday morning came and still, nothing. We were beginning to think the worst had happened. After posting on every social media site I could find and posting pictures of her around town, we thought the only thing we could do is wait.
>>> Come Monday night my mom, husband and I were getting ready to call it quits, but I stayed on our driveway as the road was finally quiet and closed my eyes to see if that would heighten my other senses, especially hearing. I called out 'Marley' and sure enough, I heard the faintest of noises. We called again and we heard her again!
We kept calling and trying to track and before long, we were at our next-door neighbor’s house banging on her door because we could hear Marley in their detached garage! I went over to the window on the side of the garage and jimmied it open and immediately Marley jumped in my arms. Since her long and scary adventure, she has been more affectionate than ever and genuinely seems more appreciative of our home.
